So finally getting to my Viking warband project, and to save time (plus they look amazing) I just ordered some LBM shield decals. As I get to painting my 4 pt metal Gripping Beast warband, I was wondering what color is best for the shield fronts for the transfers to rest on. I have read white, or buff, but any input would be great from folks who have used them. I do not expect my transfers to arrive anytime soon, and would like to get as much painting done as I can in the mean time, but wonder what to do with the shields while I wait? |

If you do not use white, you will soon understand why white is specified in the instructions. |
