I still don't think Quar are SF, but have to put them somewhere. Using WWII rules, WWI or interwar tech.

Nice AAR and a beautiful table. Thanks for sharing it.

What do you use for the field gun (I couldn't see it in the pictures)?

I don't like the one Zombiesmith provides. It just doesn't give the right feel. I'm using a 28mm WWII German 75mm infantry gun as it fits better with the drawing in the book.

I didn't get a close=up of it, but it is the Zombiesmith model. I like it OK, but I think I'd also prefer the drawing. Or have both, and let this one be a light one.

I won't have time today, but I'd like to see how Google Photos will let me annotate this better.

I paint mine up for WW2 era gaming.

Were you using 15mm or 28mm? I did not see any mention of the figure size.

I use 15mm. I use WW2 rules (Chain of Command), but have designed my own forces to match the "history".

Do you use the Quar to represent WW2 forces? Brucka on this site uses, if I remember correctly, 1940 British for Coftyrans and Germans for Crusaders.

Thanks for posting – love your windmill!
I use 28mm Quar so use the HSG as a light AT gun (like an Italian 20mm, WWI 37mm trench gun or Squeezebore look), as don't like the Coftyran one they made. The concept art for a field gun in 'This Quar's War' is more the type I'd like to see. Some of the WWI guns would be good but don't see too many in 28mm – mostly HaT's 1/72nd.
Yup; you can build pretty much any list with Quar. Spanish Civil War would work really well. I also bought the '29 Let's Go! Campaign and will use Crusaders for the US (semi-auto rifles) and Coftyran's for the Germans. Keep the Chain of Command stats for all the weapons – my Ailthean tanks are Shermans and I'll sub my Gwyaer as Marders (Chyweethyl's would work too). Dynamic and fun figures! I scratch built two flamethrower-Quar from some Partisan figures and a pole charge, bangalore and mine detector from the Kryst Standard Bearer. Though it's a little weird that the mine detector guy is running! Probably behind schedule.

I made a new version of the battle report with Comic Life 3. What do you think?

Experimenting with embedding an image:

Hey, that works. From this page:

You can copy the image address from Google photos, then just add "?.jpg" to the end.

One more try:

No, that one doesn't work.
