Wondering if anyone has a Britains metal 54mm figure and has scaled it against the 54mm AIP Zulus? Wondering if they would mix.

I don't have any Britains metal 54mm figures, but have quite a few "Britains-Deetail" 54mm plastic Saracens serving in my Ottoman Turkish army. They match up well against my "Armies in Plastic" Seven Years War-era Russian infantry on the same tabletop. However, I don't plan to combine the two manufacturers in the same unit.

I don't have a direct comparison either, but the Britains Detail range and AiP are pretty close in size.

Cheers, i have the chance to get a few of the metal Britains 24th Foot, for nothing!! But if the Plastic Zulus from AiP match in height im on a winner. Just to do some skirmish wargaming.

I only have the matte Zulu War Britains. They are closer to 60mm. I believe the gloss ones are true 54mm. In nay case here are two figures with an AIP Zulu. Note that the Chard figures is mounted on a metal washer.
Free figures? I say go for it!

Thank you Nick, that is great news, and thanks for that.
