Big Willey is being held at the local prison, but he is scheduled to be transferred to a federal prison at any time. It's up to the rest of the "Son's of Anchovies" gang to break him out before he gets transferred. The players will have to avoid rival gangs and an angry mob who's out for some vigilante justice.

That's the basic scenario for a game I'm running with the local WNPG group this week. I thought I would share the pics and an AAR when it's done. The rules will be Force on Force.

Love the table

Who makes the sofas? Do they come damaged? Undamaged?

Moe the Great29 Mar 2016 6:13 p.m. PST

The sofas were from an eBay seller who has some interesting terrain.
auction

He has damaged and undamamged among other things.

Sons of Anchovies – sounds like a good name for a Dagon following gang. nice looking set up, like the variety of minis you have too, esp the guy by the sofas.

I fully expected this to involve a bikini bottom and a pineapple under the sea.

Of course the name came from my phones autocorrect feature. I was typing Anarchy and it changed it to Anchovies, which I thought was funny, so I kept it.

Yeah I like the bum by the couches. He has some good character.

Thanks for sharing. Very fun and aesthetically pleasing game! I have a bunch of the Litko buildings that you used and like them very much.

I thought "Sons of Anchovies" was a Laurel and Hardy movie. :)

Buck,

Thanks for the compliment. It's funny that you commented because I was thinking of you as I set up the table. I picked up some GASLIGHT rules but hadn't had a chance to go over them yet. Next time I play this game my hope is to be able to use your rules.

Great setup!

What are you using for the streets and concrete sections? Looks like a mat? Who makes it?

Maxim C Gatling30 Mar 2016 8:31 a.m. PST

And the postal box… Did it come that way? Did you paint it and if so, is the US Postal logo a decal?

Maxim C Gatling30 Mar 2016 9:08 a.m. PST

That eBay seller has everything I need…only in 28mm…damn

Moe the Great30 Mar 2016 10:17 a.m. PST

Maxim,

Yeah I have found some choice scatter terrain from him. And for the cost you can't beat it.

The mat is awesome. I've had it for a few years now and it's doing great. Its painted on felt, like a cigar box mat but I think it came out before they hit the market. It's 5'x7'-ish.

I'll try to find a link for you.

So last nights game turned out to be one of the wildest I have run in years. I took over 100 photos and I will get them sorted out with comments asap.

There was a Bus-Jacking, a head on collision wiping out an entire gang, hostages, a last ditch car and Helicopter chase and much more..

Stay tuned for the photos and AAR.
