What's the ratio of painted figures you have on display vs packed away?

I'm 0 display, 100% packed away.

The opposite extreme is: 100:0

That's confusing.

How about: What percentage of your painted troops are on display?

Would like some on display, but don't have room for that now.

They are all stored. My parents have a couple of large scale figures I painted some decades ago on display.

Dynaman878930 Mar 2016 3:41 a.m. PST

.001 : 99.999 (in this case it means I have some sitting on a shelf that I have not stored away yet…)

Thomas O30 Mar 2016 4:35 a.m. PST

1:20 ratio or 5% on display here.

To every thing …

Well, not actually. I live in a different house now and only have historicals on the main shelves (exception: the bottom is still the big figs). And I added two shelves since this pic. But you get the idea.

Mister Tibbles30 Mar 2016 8:14 a.m. PST

All stored due to dust accumulation on regular shelves and no room for a dust-proof display case…but it is coming one of these days!

Started with all displayed years ago but the dusting issue changed this rabbit's habit to almost all storage in green painted cut down apple boxes. Easier to move about and transport. Would love to have out in glass door cabinets…. but would need another house to show entire miniature collection (25/28mm ancients, dark ages, medieval, WSS, SYW, French Republican era, Imperial era napoleonics, 15mm ACW, 20mm WWII based for FOW and modern 1/3000 naval). Just not in the budget. Then there we have the book (library) collection issue……they are on open book shelves taking up space in their own room.
