Just in time for the US SAGA Grand Melee, I finished the last of my Rus Princes warband. I can now run just about all options I can think of. All Gripping Beast figures. More pictures and a write up on my blog here. Thanks for looking!

So, like, you're not gonna actually 'game' with those beautiful looking figures are you?! They're fantastic. I can only dream about painting that well. As Miracle Max said in, 'The Princess Bride:' "Have fun storming the castle!" |

Wow, thanks so much for the feedback! There are very talented painters coming out so I had to up my game. I tried some new things like making a display board, snow basing and painting a paper banner. Its good when it all comes together. idontbelieveit, I experimented with snow basing and settled on the PVC glue/white acrylic paint/baking soda mix with soda dusted over the wet mix. It looks quite realistic. I plan to take pics and post a write-up. At some point in a long day of gaming, I'm lucky to remember the rules. Ran The Cid, see you in Chicago and I'm guessing you're running Spanish with a handle like yours? I came close to taking Spanish. Too many good choices. Bohemund, see you in Chicago. THANKS and good gaming to all! |

Those figures look even better in person than in the photos. I wish I had played against them . |
