Hi all At the start of March we announced that the we will be launching a new Kickstarter on the 31st March 2016 to help fund the creation of the Astagar 15mm SCi-fi Snakemen miniature line. You can read more about that in our TMP news article here. Further to this we have now locked down the initial pledge levels and can provide the detail on what that will look like at the start of the campaign. The Infantry Company Commander Pledge is £33.00 GBP (40 early birds will be available at £30.00 GBP), and has an initial offering of 6 Infantry Squads and 2 Support weapons. This pledge is infantry centric for those of you who love the grunts.
The Heavy Infantry Company Commander Pledge is also £33.00 GBP (40 early birds also available at £30.00 GBP), and has an initial offering of 2 Viperia Power Armour Squads and a Volos Support Mecha. This pledge is Mecha centric.
Of course there are those of you we suspect will want the best of both worlds, so both these pledges will be available as additional buys at £33.00 GBP giving you the opportunity to mix and match or double up as you wish on your initial pledge. Hi Craig, just a quick query in the Infantry Company Command Pledge; the graphic shows eight(8) Astagar troopers in each squad only underneath it states 1 Leader, 1 Squad Support Weapon and four(4) Astagar troopers, which if my adding up is correct makes only 6 troopers? Paul G. |

They look very nice but the pledge level are a bit large to me… I mostly play squads to platoon level games and wouldn't need anything like 50 infantry and 6 PA… Would you consider either smaller initial pledge or something like an "half-and-half" pledge built around 3 squads infantry and 3 PA? I know you guys are targeting company level games (and maybe that's where the money is) but I'm sure there is plenty of skirmishing guys out there that be interested in a "a bit of everything" pledge rather that to have to buy (or to pass on) whole companies worth of minis… |

arngrimson – I've given the graphics monkey a slap, the image has been updated squads are 8 miniatures. Trojan Points, wminsing and McWong73, the £5.00 GBP Requisition form pledge will be for you guys, you get access to the Additional buys with this pledge and just select exactly what you want from what ever is unlocked, but are likely to miss out on the great deals that will build from the Infantry pledges. hope that clears things up for you all Craig @ CMG |

I think that frequent updates are one of the things that make or break a KS campaign.
Pity that the Inf flamers & Grenade launchers didn't make it and they were so close.
Hopefully we'll see them in the future.
The intro of the Strike commander pledge is what finally made me take the plunge with a good mix of inf & vehicles ( without adding a lot to the lead pile :)).
Can't wait to get them. Keep it up

Same here… Adding a couple companies worth of infantry and tanks to the lead pile, wasn't an option… The Strike Team pledge was exactly what I wanted! I was holding my breath (not literally) yesterday night (CEST) wondering if the MLRS would be unlocked… Which it was! Yeaaaaah! One question though… Do I understand correctly that only one variant is being produced? The one with the 8 square hatches pods (and thus not the one with the 3 triangle hatches pod)? I understand artillery vehicles are not big sellers and it doesn't make much economic sense to market two variants of what's essentially and functionally the same vehicle… Now, I, for one, find the triangle hatches one muuuuuch more visually interesting. Would you guys (CMG) maybe consider polling the backers for which variant they'd rather see produced? Maybe I'm the only one preferring the second variant in which case "fair enough"… But what if most other backers are also prefering that one? |

Has anyone managed to contact Critical mass lately ?
Being an Astagar KS backer , I received a mail from them that the project may be delayed a bit due to one of the crew having an accident.Unfortunately I'm not receiving any reply from them This is not a problem in itself i'm willing to wait ,but I'm enquiring about whether the 20% discount on Store stuff which was offered to us backers can be sent with the KS order ….. Z |
