I really like these two but hope they add a few more ships to the wave. |

It would be nice if they added more to this release. |

I agree why aren't there 1 or 2 more ships to this release. |

I'm happy they're slow-rolling Armada. Capital ship combat doesn't have a lot of variety going for it in the movies. I think X-Wing has long made way too many releases each year. With 1–2 waves, Aces packs, big ships with fighter upgrades squeezed in, it's a constant flood of new material. I don't really blame FFG for this, they paid good money for the SW license and are printing money as fast as they can with it. But you never have time to settle in and just work with all the toys you already have. |

More of a ripple than a wave…. |

Got to admit I'm underwhelmed. I wonder if there's going to be a wave 3.5 with some stuff from TFA. TIE/FO T-70 Renn's Star Destroyer And that's about it. |

Less than impressed. If the whole goal is to get us to buy packs, when why only two lame packs that most of us will only get one of? |

I don't really blame FFG for this, they paid good money for the SW license and are printing money as fast as they can with it. But you never have time to settle in and just work with all the toys you already have. That's what pretty much killed Attack Wing. 3 new ships each month. 1 of which is anything more than 'filler'. BUT you have to collect them all since each one comes with maybe ONE card that's a 'must have'. Tournament prizes on top of that, some of which are also 'must haves'. Amazing with that release schedule that they had time to play-test everything… …wait, they didn't? That explains a few things. In my opinion, FFG has done right by X-Wing. Really is an example of 'less is more'. |

Does anyone think that the merger might have dampened steam on the wave? While I'm not of the 'they are working to destroy the line' group I see now and then, the whole process has a tendency to disrupt new products a bit. I've been looking at Yarkshire Gamer's reports on their campaign, and wanted to come up with something similar for both X-Wing and Attack Wing, but their set up is JUST for rebels, with Imperials being a pool of OpFor's. I think something could be done at the store, but I'm not good enough with the rules for a proper 'start really simple, build goodies by earning them over the long haul', especially for two or more factions. I like the idea, particularly for the Rebels. Their fleets ought to include swarms of ships that can barely even be called warships. Just cobbled together armed-merchant ships that enthusiastic but poorly equipped Rebels bring to the party. |

Well, the idea I was working with was, in a 'backwater' sector, the Imperial officers would have to struggle just as hard to prove themselves, and their post, worthy of upgrades. While a great model for the bottom line, and plenty of folk rabidly enjoy, the 'bring anything you can buy/get and fit in to the point system' can put some new players off. And us curmudgeons who deal poorly with rapidly changing worlds. ;->= Doug |

I'm glad to see these added to the lineup. I don't mind the slower release schedule, for me, it's better on my finances and IIRC the release schedule for these is 3rd quarter, so that's quite a ways away. |
