Interested to poll those who might be interested in 28mm figs for the above?

Mark has announced his plan to do a 30mm "quirky" interwar range entitled Little Interwars

Oh, I like those very much. A Not-Tintin would make things even better. Will be watching these…

I need more information before I decide, but it certainly has my curiosity piqued.

I could see me getting some of these. Do I spy a beret on that guy in the back? Vehicles?

@Daryl

This one is in Mark's 28mm Gangster range, he is in the detectives pack.

He needs a Not-Snowy.

Very nicely done, Captain, and thank you for the tip! His colours and the lack of shading look spot on.

Not sure why these are being posted on a 19thC discussion forum, the figs I am thinking of are def 1848/1849

30mm that's a nice slap in the face to your loyal customers. What about some Japanese to fight those Soviets and Warlord Chinese?

@Shipka

The bug strikes, fun ain't it? or should that be farce:-)

daler240D17 Mar 2016 7:57 a.m. PST

should be 40-42mm.

Durando17 Mar 2016 3:08 p.m. PST

Just too expensive in that scale

should be 40-42mm.

This would be good also:-)

Shipka, I think this style of figure is probably used for more old school style gaming and the figure count on the table would be much lower. You would not have hundreds of these per side, so price for your overall outlay would still be reasonable. Also, these style of figures are traditionally larger, so the "installed base" of people most likely to be interested in them already are invested in larger scale scenery and other figures. I think these look great and if they were the right scale would complement the Shiny Toy Soldier range from Spenser Miniatures
