I am getting very tired of setting up on nice looking tables boards with well painted armies, only to have someone plop out dozens of slips of white paper to count as obstacles and shatter the aesthetic. I've been looking around to find some top-down-view paper color markers for minefields and barbed wire that players can print out, but I haven't been able to find any. Does anyone know if such a thing exists? |

For barbed wire I would make a wire coil. Very easy to make and can look decent. Cheap too if you need a lot of frontage. |

hi Cut a 2 X 6 inch base of MDf. Drill 11 holes in a cross pattern. Stick some Barbecue Skewers through the holes. Cut to length you want and wrap some scale wire around the posts and you have a Barbed wire entanglement. |

For a printable minefield marker check the GHQ website under Free Stuff. They have a sheet of markers for the micro armor game that includes 1" x 1" minefield markers. Otherwise Wackmole9 above has the best idea plus you can make them whatever size/shape you need. |

For barbed wire I just took some wire from a multi-cored electrical cable, cut it to about 6" lengths, twisted it round a pencil and glued it onto base. Jobsa. |

FarkonGnome: Thank you, that was exactly the sort of thing I was looking for! |
