This has nothing to do with some WW1 regiment. One one way I feel young again ordering ( or not then) with all those re proliferating postal charges ( minimal 5-7£= ok) of 20-25%. Like in the 80s early 90s. Talking 18 mm to " Europe" ( the soon to be isolated continent) from the UK. But frankly 200+ 18mm, 2kg or less ok? 40-45£ Some import them and send them in several parcels, losing on the way ( but their pb, no?) other manufacture them. Being natural curious: actual costs 16-25£. Rohhhh |

Any chance of a version of the original post in English? DBDD |

Don't be so rude Darrell, I don't think English is his first language. If I'm wrong I apologise. |

Of the problem of impulsive writing. |

I agree, 40 – 45 GBP is off putting, but I've seen that rate listed by some. It's a deal breaker for me, unless I can afford to place a very large order, or go in with someone/several people on one. |

A parcel sent from the UK within the EU, weighing up to 2kg, tracked and insured up to £250.00 GBP costs less than £20.00 GBP If you go over 2kg the price rockets. The price quoted seems very high! |

I'm crying my eyes out over recent increases to small package postal charges here in the US. I have a lot of perfectly good stuff that isn't worth selling because of the shipping charges. It restrains my trade, for sure. But, small parcel delivery hasn't been a USPS monopoly for many years. The private delivery services are much *more* expensive than USPS. I guess if the job could be done cheaper, someone would try to make a living doing it… |

I'm sure the North Koreans could deliver cheaper with their version of the drone.

Coming soon :Amazon Delivery! Which will be a verrrry interestink development. For years Amazon has sacrificed profitability to gain market share by giving away free shipping. Now Amazon is getting into the air freight business. They just leased 30 jumbo jets from a company named Air Transport Services Group, a big air freight provider. ATSG stock spiked, Amazon dropped a bit more. The question is, whether or not Amazon can run an air freight business? From what I see, they run one heck of a warehouse distribution operation, and freight is a natural follow-on. Vertical monopoly can give powerful leverage to a business, provided the execs don't let the in-house providers get fat and lazy. Amazon could revolutionize small-package freight in the US. I'm betting on them. |

To pack and ship a package here in the USA is getting pricey. I used to offer free shipping on eBay but am now charging due to the cost. No way around it. Even slow boat to China type shipping cost way over what is acceptable IMO. |

Well, I can say this. I have tons of Napoleonic 15/18mm in my collection that I can not sell simply because it is to freakin expensive to ship them anywhere from Norway. If I do look at getting my shipping charges covered, then the sales price gets to high. So, I just sit on the minis and hope for better (and cheaper shipping) days. |
