Its designed for 15mm scale, its 16mm to eye level but its only a proof of concept piece. Its not in production.

Leon did it to mess with me for teasing him some months ago about a canid alien race he was sculpting for DSG (i.e., I told Leon he should do sci fi squirrels as their natural mortal spacefaring enemies). Personally I think DSG should put this fine little homicidal tree rat into production at least as a one off pose of a "generic" alien/GELF mercenary/ship's crew/bodyguard figure for sci fi RPGs, etc…. Working on some Hani off and on ( more off than on at the moment) tricky getting a proper feline look……….though get plenty of those when HWMBO's food bowl is empty……….

The rings in the ears are a complete pain.
Cant think what to do a bout tails, no mention at all of them in the books but cat=tail in my mind. At least can try out both options without too much work.

Well they paint up well and easily which is half the battle.
Over painted mine a bit but that often happens as in my head they are 54mm so never quite live up to expectations.

You did Hani! OK. Please tell me you're going to do the Mahendosat as well. Gold Tooth was Da Bomb amongst the supporting characters in the novels, and waaaay back in the day I had some T-Rex Miniatures 15mm Space Opera aliens including some Pithicines which like an idjit I sold off years ago at a flea market… I would love to reconstitute the old crews I had from my Traveller days in 15mm, including the assorted nonhuman "space rats" figurative and literal… Bravo, Leon!

If only things were as quick as that! Sometime I do dream that I dont have anything else to do but design work and can forget about all that silly running a business……….. fat chance! lol
I was talking about a recent job for Darby just done, not the Hani when I was talking about painting. I'm working on the Hani in 'out' time and they are a long, long way off.
At the moment its back to 6mm and 20mm I have two whole days on the design bench ahead :).
