Hi, I picked up some 10mm Pikemen and I bought the corresponding 10mm Pikes to go along with them. When I was getting ready to set them up for painting I attempted to attach the pikes to the guys. I suddenly realized that there wasn't a hole drilled out for the pikes to fit into. What have you guys done to attach the pikes? Do you drill a hole or just superglue the pike onto the unpainted figure and then paint over it? Thanks! |

The catalog says to drill them out with a Dremel, but I've never seen a bit that small. I love the 10s,but stuck with WSS &AWI. And WWII. I'd also like to know the solution. TYW would be a sight in 10mm. |

Kenneth, have you done this? I sometimes use a pin vise on 25mm when the flex – cord won't fit,and I have some pretty small bits, but nothing small enough for the hands on 10mm. That is very, very small. |

Go to a hobby store that sells model railroad stuff. They have all sorts of teeny-tiny drill bits. They are usually behind the counter so you have to ask the sales clerk about them. I normally use a .032" bit for my 28mm spears so you might want something even smaller. Or order direct from Walthers…. link
Note: Although I have successfully used them in my Dremel they are very thin and prone to breakage so it's better to stick with a manual pin vise… |

Ace Hardware sells bits small enough for the job. |

I have many Old Glory ancients. I use a 1/16 bit in a hand made dowel, as a drill. Bits break every once in a while. Lowe's /Home depot sell them in 2 packs for just a couple of dollars. |

Triangular file use edge file a < into the hand, fit pike dab superglue to hand and butt, done. That's what I do for too small/ pain in the a** 10/15 mm hands. |

I normally loved the OG 10mms and have more than one collection but having to put in the pikes by hand like that stopped me cold from ever starting up any wars that called for pikemen. |
