Hello All I am looking for a picture of a Gurkha wearing the khaki tunic and older green uniform pants. I think it might have been from a Tradition Magazine, but just cannot remember. Does anyone know, or better yet, have a picture? Thank you |

The old Osprey book on the Ghurkas had such a picture. |

The American use of the word "pants" is…. pants! |

You have a good memory. It's in the Tradition Book of the Gurkhas. I can't find a date when it was published but the price is in shillings and pence. Picture is of the 5th Goorkha Reg. The Hazara Goorkha Battalion 1886. Green trousers, khaki tunic, green cap. Interestingly, no puttees. |
