I ran a game of the Battle of Chelm at CincyCon on Friday afternoon.

There were four players, two taking the Russians and the Prussians and two on the side of national independence and freedom.

Here were the Poles trying to defend their position while they prepared to move out and save their supplies and their army to fight again.

The Russians were on the left of the allied line while the Prussian cavalry was moving up to support their attack.

Until it isn't.

The Russians massed their attack on the Polish right. Eventually they were able to use their 10 battalion and two guns to overwhelm the 3 Polish battalion and one gun they were facing.

The Prussians managed to breakthrough the Polish line on the right in one place but it cost them their Brigade to do so. The Russians breakthrough on the the right took so much time that the Poles were able to retreat in an orderly fashion and with the Prussian cavalry out of action there was no effective pursuit.

I wish I could have made the con…I wanted to chat with you and pick up some figs. I hope you enjoyed the con well enough to return next year!

Are you planning on updating your website anytime soon? I made some comments months ago, still pending approval. Plus I do believe the full listing of what is available is not on the website.

The plan was to do a full overhaul of the website when I got the cavalry done, which is taking a while. I have been going through the comments, the vast, vast majority of which are spam links. There are something like 15,000 of them. I'm working on it.

Was unable to make the con Friday, but went on Saturday and saw your booth and picked up some figs. The castings look nice and your painting of them was very nice.

Thanks for coming to Cincycon

Will you be returning to CincyCon in 2017? I could not attend this year but should be next year and would enjoy gaming in one of your Kosciuszko events!
