Planned for the 100th Anniversary so a bit behind schedule….

Half a Zug of 20mm Britannia Germans not painted by me but rebased and ready to march through the Belgian countryside to Paris with only the BEF to stop them.

Touched up a couple of buildings I had lying around for while – redid the bases to be suitable for Europe, added some damaged roofs using off cuts of Warbases tiling sheets, little bits of balsa strip left over from previous projects as well as scratchbuilt doors and shutters lying at the bottom of the bits box.

Next up more Germans, some rebased BEF, a few more ruined buildings, a canal and bridge and some cobbled roads.

Thanks for looking.

Nicely done – looking forward to the next stage of the project!

Inspiring thumbs up, are these 20mm the former IT (or Tumbling Dice) 20mm WWI, or perhaps vice-versa?

I ask because 20mm WWI appear to be thin on the ground. I just, at the end of 2015, moved from 15mm to 20mm WWII…needs must on the old eyes…would like to do the same for WWI. old fart

No these are Britannia miniatures 20mm -in my opiion the best range -very robust chunky figures.
Tinned fruit you've made a good choice -good looking units. I really couldn't decide on basing but I went for this in the end.
