As my last attempt got bug infested, I thought I'd try again.

On Saturday the South London Warlords ran "Stingray: Anything can hapen in the next half hour" at Hammerhead 2016.

We had a fine time with lots of players, most notably alot of dads who remember the show but with sons and daughters in tow. We ran (for technical reasons) one Stingray sub (actually the Barracuda) from thee we have but used the more televisual approach of a two 'man' crew (as in Troy and Phones).

We ran through a lot of games and everyone seemed to have a good time.

Many thanks to Sally from Kallistra for doing all the organising and we were terribly pleased and very surprised to win the Best of Show award for the game.

Lovely to see Stingray in action again… it seemed busy all the time I was there too! Can't get the theme tune out of my head now though. Thanks guys :)

Looks really good, with lots of happy faces (under awesome hats)!

Thanks all: it was fun.

When we first did the game back in 1989 – different scale and different rules – my now late mother made the hats for me.

Now, 27 years later, I will confess that – every time we use them – I think of my dear old mum and smile.

This is one of the neatest looking games! And the fact that little kids can play it is a testament to good design. I wish I could get a game in. Bring it to Texas!!!!

I'll discuss mileage allowances for Texas with the committee…

Fat chance! wink

Two fins up, to John and crew! Keep your inner-child's spirit in gaming!

Looks great!

Congratulations on the award. It is obviously well deserved.

Love the W.A.S.P. hats, and the lovely models.

You never see enough Aquaphibians these days, do you?
