Hey everyone – the news of Copplestone potentially getting some (not) Aquilonians done has me excited, and Im looking at doing either a skirmish game, or role playing in 15mm (or more likely a hybrid of the two, if the new Conan RPG's mass combat rules are any good – though I suspect they will be, or only need minimal adjusting)

What Im looking for currently is primarily captives , slaves (nudes and not nudes are fine – though with it being Hyboria, nudes preferred I guess) etc of either genders. I've seen a fair amount of sites offering them in this scale, but VERY few have very nice pictures, and trying to sort through google to get a glimpse of DBA camps gets tiring. SO I was wondering if you guys might be able to provide me with some pics, or links to galleries featuring these kinds of minis so I can get a ahndle of where, from what company I should purchase some :)

I would be interested in seeing any Hyborian miniatures.

Majormike, Nearly everyone sells Hyborian miniatures. R.E.Howard just picked historical types to give flavour to the different countries.

Incidentally the older books are no longer in copyright. Although a lot of the names are Trademarks, Trademarks tend to be in a given field, so 2 companies in different fields could have the same Trademark – the qualifying tests are whether people would mistake one item as being produced by the other company. So although Aquilonia may be a Trademark of the Howard estate for published works, I would doubt that they would be valid for wargames figures based on the out of copyright stories.

Apologies I was going into a meeting and had to cut short my post. I am aware of the genre. But what I would like to see are other people projects and ideas. Links to blogs or sites with nice pictures or interesting campaigns running would be the ticket.
As for 18mm slaves. Im not sure who would do them. Black hat have a nice scantily clad princess figure.

Matakishi plays in 28mm I believe, good stuff nonetheless.

Peter Pig do 15mm dark age captives. None are naked though.

Museum miniatures have packs of captives in their classical 15mm range.

Any photos? It easy to say that tese companies offer the ranges- but so often they have such terrible quality photos of their products that its hard to be convinced into buying them…

A second for Museum Nudes.
This is a link to their page but not of the actual nude hordes but of nudes with weapons.

There is also the Khurasan 15mm Barbarian O'Brien

I have gone retro and started to collect the old Mini Figs range, Caliver and ebay supplementing my few from days gone past!

If you haven't checked these out yet, you will need to. Crom's Anvil is a small scale seller with amazing 15mm not-Conan figures, buildings and desert terrain.

Check out Eyland and Eydis as a near match for Conan and Valeria…

If not affiliated, but a frequent purchaser…

Barbarian O'Brien?

Nice tie in with Conan O'Brien.
