Going to visit an old and dear friend in Amsterdam soon. are there any historical miniature gaming stores in town? I've seen Games Workshop but I'm an old stick in the mud and not into 28mm plastic fantasy figures. If no shops, no big deal. I'll go have have some appletart instead. |

If I were in Amsterdam, miniatures would be very low on my list of things to look for. Appletart, too. Even lower if I were single. Amsterdam has a *reputation* |

Punkrabbit, I'm happily married and getting on. Dutch beer and cheese and the occasional appletart floats my boat. Plus my wife used to live in Amsterdam and she's my native guide. No "coffee houses" for me. Not saying I avert my eyes when walking through the red light district… |
