Howdie. I decided to start catologing my Battletech inventory on my blog. Since I painted these over so many years, the paint jobs "fluctuate", but if you too have a Battletech addiction, you might find this 1st catalog interesting… link Thanks! Chalfant |

Thanks. I like that mountain camo pattern too, which is why some of my favorite looking mechs show up with it :) Chalfant |

I like the paint jobs. However, accepting the nature of Mechs it seem silly to paint something the size of a house "camo". Back in the day I realized that much were the size of power transmission towers and solid. Pretty mush going to be a dark shape on the horizon |

That is a great bunch of Mechs :) Thinking about it I have some I might have to think about cataloging my stockpile of the little blighters :) Thanks for the inspiration. Matt |

Per the camo, they just get dull to paint in solid colors all of the time. Yes, 10m tall machines weighing up to 100 tons would be hard to hide on most battlefields, BUT they are more fun this way, ha ha. They would be better off using some kind of light based camo, though, that would be broken up after a hit…. one version of this kind of system…. link … and just about impossible to paint (at least for me). Per the cataloging, I'll try to get some more up soonish. Chalfant |
