Rather than a rehash of Tolkien's Dickensian country squires, the halflings in the RPG setting "Primeval Thule" are described as a primitive, tribal jungle-dwellers. Does anyone know of any barbarian halfling miniatures on the market? |

Could you use Pygmies ? I think Foundry haver some in their Darkest Africa range. |

Africanised halflings would probably look a lot like pygmies but with bigger feet. Dragon Bait does a cool Halfling barbarian which has a Conan vibe Here: link |

I think I may have found what I'm looking for at Wargames Foundry as part of their "God of Battle" range: link No females, though. Oh well, it's a start. |

There are the Celtic/Germanic halfling barbarians from Pax Bochemannica:

Was going to mention Pax B. Their shaven heads should allow for a great deal of customization for the enterprising. Kallistra make a range of fantasy pygmies.
Old Glory make dwarven zulu. If you are not picky about the beards and paint hair on their feet they will do.
Alternative Armies make Turkish/Egyptian/Sudanese halflings.
Which I converted to…

Depending on how you envision your halflings proportions? If you see them as much like normal human proportions, there are a number of 15mm ranges that you could use. I prefer 15mm humans to 28mm halflings for my hobbit-types. |

With larger figures 15's can be a bit small.
Maybe 20mm with today's larger models? |
