Played a 54mm game using the Portable Wargames Rules today and had a really fun game which both of us thought worked really well.

Nice-looking troops and table. Would like to see these rules in-action, and participate in one of your games! |

The rules are very elegant. It's the first set of rules using a square grid I've played that ignores diagonals (i.e. you cannot count diagonals when moving or firing etc) and I thought it worked very well. In fact I enjoyed the game so much that I've just ordered Big Red Bat's new hills designed to go with the Plains mat from Deep-Cut Studios! Anthony |
