While I know that plenty of companies make 1/72 Turkish generals, I needed one for my Crimean project and didn't fancy waiting. With that in mind, I converted an Italeri American Civil War general with some green stuff and a Waterloo 1815 fez. I'm no hand at conversions, but he actually doesn't look too bad. Stunning work, Mr. Kinch. Jeb Stuart has joined Ottomans? For shame! Thank you for sharing! It's always a delight to read your blog. |

Looks very nice. As for Stuart joining the Ottomans, keep in mind that a number of Southern officers served in the Egyptian army in the 1870s. Stuart wasn't the sort to let a little thing like having been killed in 1864 keep him out. Grelber |

A bit of paint, and he should look marvelous! |

I did look up Rebel officers in Egyptian service. Most of them seem to have left in 1878, so not in time for the British sadly. |
