Sumerian Chariots in 6mm

Remember back in 2005, when I promised pictures of those Sumerian chariot stands in 6mm?

Here are a couple of figures from our up coming late Roman legionaries.

This is a joint venture between Paul Hicks and Ebor miniatures with Paul receiving money from every sale so the more sales the more figures will be released.

First up will be unarmoured legionaries followed by armoured legionaries.

As more figures are ready I will post pictures.

cheers Nick

Interesting.

I'd rather see you finish the WSS line. Where are the French Dragoons, mounted & dismounted?

idontbelieveit26 Feb 2016 7:32 a.m. PST

Nice. Have you got LBMS lined up to do some shield transfers?

Huscarle26 Feb 2016 8:52 a.m. PST

Nice, I wonder how they will go with my GB, Essex, Black Tree, & oh, well too many to mention. I have quite a mix, so these boys will fit in very nicely thumbs up

These look great. I suspect that I will be revisiting my long delayed late Roman project.

Delbruck26 Feb 2016 1:20 p.m. PST

Very nice. I will look forward to getting some of these.

I like very much late Romans but I don' t understand Ebor. They are doing Great Northern War. The pieces are very beautiful but they are few and until some days ago we could not see them. Now, instead of announcing the completion of the range, they will announce a new one. There was a better way to stop its sale?

gavandjosh0226 Feb 2016 6:51 p.m. PST

Ok by me. Very pretty. I can use a few more late romans.

Captain Cook27 Feb 2016 1:17 a.m. PST

Excellent, one can never have enough Romans.

Here are the rest of the command set for the late Romans.
Paul has scaled the figures to the GB range in height although they are slightly slimmer, he has made the shields the same size so the LBM transfers for GB fit them.

Sculpting on these is wonderful. I if I ever came into money to fund some biblicals it would have to be Paul Hicks as first choice.

Emperorbaz28 Feb 2016 4:35 a.m. PST

This looks very promising!

Hello Ebor,

Are those separate shields or are they attached like some of the GB Late Romans? I am actually in the market for about 10 crested unarmored and 60 unarmored spearmen for lanciarii units but I would need to put smaller shields on the figures.

I also need around 54 unarmored archers with helmet, no crest. Are you planning archers?

GB has a set, but all the same pose, nevertheless I was about to place a large order by GB for archers and Newline for the lanciarii but I may just hold off if you are about to introduce a new line.

Lastly, will you be offering unit deals with this line?

I wonder if we will ever see the release of the Ebor Late Romans?

PrussianMonty14 May 2016 4:15 a.m. PST

These look to be excellent figures and this period has recently taken off at our club so I'm hoping they will be available soon?

Captain Cook19 May 2016 12:23 p.m. PST

I have read on another forum that they are awaiting production moulds.

BelgianRay25 May 2016 12:14 p.m. PST

Great figures.

Captain Cook14 Jul 2016 1:34 p.m. PST

Packs are now on the website.

Atheling28 Oct 2023 12:44 a.m. PST

Does anyone know who now stocks Ebor miniatures Late roman range please?

I note that on their website that Ebor no longer have them.

Thanks.

I bought a pack each of the complete range a couple of years back because I thought the figures sculpting looked great… but upon receiving them I had to return them . Almost every figure had badly misaligned mold seams. Maybe that's why we don't see them anymore on Ebors site anymore
