Well I'm back again ;) I show up every few years, do a flurry of Crimson Skies stuff, then fade away to oblivion.

Of course my name is GrantS, administrator of the montanaraiders.com website.

Just thought I'd pop in and mention some of the stuff in case someone was wondering :)

We now do most of our discussion on facebook, I plan on redoing the forum but life just….takes priority for now.

I welcome joining on the forum, but ask that they post to facebook, as spambots by the billions have registered and I have to manually activate the accounts.

There's some interesting stuff getting posted on facebook, along with projects by various members.

I myself have updated the website, removed some dead links, added links to new websites. ALso added a player-made campaign "The Hellhounds of Mexico" for download/online reading, several new regions, along with numerous home-created planes by myself.

I hope to see a few new faces on our facebook group :) Not trying to self-promote, but still as big of a fan of Crimson Skies as ever, just have bills, real-life projects and ,etc. that keep getting in the way. Nothing else out there so trying to keep the little rundown shanty going for us pilots in need of a shelter ;)

I presume this is for the original FASA version of the game? Do you know of any sources for buying it? I can't locate a single copy anywhere.

A very fun game, but one I haven't played in far too many years. Might have to break out the planes again over spring break.

Really enjoyed the game.

Lol, maybe, but I'd say 4th or 5th time ;)

The website material is mainly for the boardgame, but the pulpy goodness is fun for general reading :) I had all the boardgame material for a few years before I ever played it (started out on the PC game).

As far as sources……ebay is about the only bet, although there are a few complete copies that are downloadable around, I am unsure where to find them, I made sure to not know and distance myself so my website didn't get sued.

We DO have a unofficial fan supplement: the unreleased Bombers and Zeppelins sourcebook….from material…and compiled by the original author ;) Who also wrote the entire Republic of Texas sourcebook.
