There is this program called vassal, which I have just discovered, and it turns out, you can play DBA on it!

It's called de bellus Vassalus. Is anybody familiar with it?

If anybody ever wants to teach me how to play, just send me a message on vassal

Thanks
Austin

Never, heard of it, though I suspect there's a DBZ for those people who are really into gaming with hordes of zombies.

What's the Latin for "zombie"?

There was some discussion on Fanaticus a while ago about this game.

It is an attempt to make some sort of computerized version of DBA 2.

Latin for zombie, how about "mortuus vivens"

It's a program widely used by board wargamer to play real time or PBEM. It's nice but doesn't enforce rules.

I was going to say yes, assuming you meant De Bellis Velitum (DBV) a skirmish variant of DBA which is available from Phil Barker's website.

But, instead I have to say No. grin

So it is quite definitely not "De Bellis Vegetatis, 3rd ed"? The bloodless non-violent variant?

A "VASSAL" board? But we cant get a dedicated Frostgrave board? What is a "VASSAL"? Is it a unit of measure?
