I have read about German Admiral Spree's Asiatic Squadron of Battle Cruisers & Cruisers. I always wondered besides gun boats that were left behind, if any torpedo boats or sloops made up part of the squadron? Also, did Austria have any ships in Asia?

Yes, there was an Austrian light cruiser assigned to the China station.

Note that the 10.5cm guns in the Iltis & Moltke batteries were removed from SMS Iltis and manned by her crew.
