I figured I would dip my toe in the water so to say into WW 1 Naval War Gaming. I figured to go on the cheap and fast so turned away from ship miniatures that had to painted and assembled and found Top Side Miniatures on the Web. They look to be larger board game counters mounted on wooden stands with top down views. I ordered the company's only WW 1 Battle Set (Cornel & Falklands Battle). Order arrived in just 3 days and I was impressed with the ships. I am using the "Fletcher Pratt" rules that uses golf tee's for gun splashes and these flat counters are great for the tee's fit right on the ships without damage or scuffs. I just hope the company expands their line of WW 1 items (Seems they have a ton of WW 2 ships & planes) to include flying boats, sea planes, subs, blimps, Q-ships & destroyer-torpedo boats. I figured I would pass on to you folks about this great company.
