A bit of a change for a club night recently when one of the lads pitched up with a Zombicide game. Despite the scepticism i took a character and settled down for what turned out to be a cracking game. This is the board we used-
A report and as much info about the mechanics as i can remember can be found here- Link |

That looks a whole lotta fun. How does it compare for you if you have gamed in 3D buildings before? I'm sure I would soon be tempted to build up the board and substitute overheads view items for 3D (?), so the vehicles would be changed first of all. |

Yes thats exactly what we plan to do starting, as you say with the cars. The figures will be painted too in due course. The game is great fun out of the box though. |

Zombicide is a fun game glad you enjoyed it. Poundland sells a range of cars and vans in 1/43 scale and are good models for a pound. Which with a little weathering, can be made to look the part. Ainsty casting make all sorts of stuff at a reasonable price that fit neatly on the tiles. I bought a dumpster and some pieces for barricades. |

Poundland is a great place for stuff. One of the lads at the club buys steam trains from there, tarts them up a bit and sells them for 40 or 50 quid!!! |

We've switched to Black Plague as they've ironed out some of the nuances with the original game and got to love the new player dashboards. |

We play both the original and Black Plague. The ready access to ranged weapons in the original makes the gameplay very different from PB. You can tell they have learned from experience. We have a few house rules in original but have not seen the need for any changes to the PB rules. Both are brilliant fun. |

I was at a RECON game in Orlando sometime back and it was one of the loudest games being played. The guy running the game made a few 3d city blocks to play. Folks were loud, laughing and having a great time. I received a copy for Christmas and have yet had time to run a game. If you want to see how it plays here's a link to a YouTube video that I think is pretty good at showing folks how to play. YouTube link |
