The third of our AWI poses with muskets leveled (leftmost, front rank) looks ready to receive an advancing enemy. He's part of the second edition update of our American Revolution line: link

This pose originally had a leather cap a la light infantry, and was part of our first edition troops. That figure is still available from us, and has kept his head. He's parts of our Continental and British lights, for the latter of which he's modified slightly.

The second edition casting has had his head removed and neck drilled out to receive separate heads. He's part of our Recruit Your Own Regiment menu, so you can pick if you want to mix and match with other poses, like our other two figures with muskets leveled. You can see some of those results in the picture at the top, but here's a whole ATKM Continental infantry regiment:

This pose could be used for troops on either side, Continental or British. As with all the figures on the menu, you get to choose what head sets to combine with them. You can do all that here: link

This figure and most everything ATKM makes is 54mm metal. The figures come unpainted. An infantry regiment (12 soldiers + 2 command) is $40. USD A skirmisher unit (6 + 2 ) is $25. USD As I've said previously, we try to keep our prices comparable to what you might pay for 28s, because you're already looking at a new scale. At least the prices can be familiar.

That's just the ticket for Imagi-nations too.

Using the ATKM rules and a basis of 4-6 foot units, 2-3 cav units, and 2-3 guns per sides, it's a great time to think about these puppies…

Oh, temptation…

Thanks, gents. Eric, you touch on something I plan to address further: number of units needed for a game of All the King's Men, whether in 54mm or any other scale. The short answer is 6 per player is a good, textured sweet spot, assuming a historical battle doesn't dictate otherwise. More units and players simply have more options per activation. Less and they have fewer options. So, maybe 3 infantry, 2 skirmishers and a cav or artillery. That's it!
