The second edition of our American Revolution line has meant considerable revision for our artillery, Continental and British: link

A crew consists of 4 men, 2 command, and a gun under the All the King's Men rules. The 4 crew include a man with a ramrod, leverage pole/handspike, a man maneuvering a wheel, and a man with a bucket. Each has lost his head; you get to choose the head set that accompanies your crew. The officer is a one-piece casting. The second command figure called for by the ATKM rules is a drummer, who is also headless.

Folks familiar with our first edition crew will notice the new poses: ramrod, pole bearer, and drummer. Two of the original crew remain, but have obviously gone "topless." The bucket man is now made differently as well. His right hand is now part of the bucket handle, all of which attaches to the body at the wrist where there's a peg/hole setup. The one-time color bearer is also gone now that we have a wider range of other command figures to include.

This set does double duty as Continentals and British. That may put some folks off, but there are so many similarities between the uniforms that it could be argued either way. Plus, uniforms on both sides were so quick to wear out, change, and simplify that both sides started to look the same with only color (sometimes!) telling them apart.

We offer crews with a 3 pounder, 6 pounder, siege gun, or naval gun. Depending on the gun you pick, sets are $30 USD or $35. USD They're all 54mm metal and come unpainted. You can see them all here: link

Can the artillery crew be ordered as single figures? Cannons I have, crew I don't.

We could work that out, Joe

The detail on the guns would be more visible if they were a lighter color.

Not lighter, but color…
