Why would you find Barrow-wights in Frostgrave? |
Hafen von Schlockenberg | 16 Feb 2016 6:50 a.m. PST |
Was hoping for Barry White coming out of his barrow. |

"Why would you find Barrow-wights in Frostgrave?" Why not? |

Was hoping for Barry White coming out of his barrow. That was my first thought, too. And here's proof that he's trying to seduce your soul, or something like that:

Enjoy my spelling error :) Sorry I can't fix it. |
Hafen von Schlockenberg | 16 Feb 2016 8:54 a.m. PST |
Now,jpattern, just a couple of tweaks, not too much…and we'll hear that "low moan from the ground": "Cold be hand and heart and stone--baby". Now THAT'S Soul Seduction! |

We got it together didn't we We've definitely got our thing together, don't we Frodo? Isn't that nice? I mean really when you really lie on that stony slab and think about it isn't it really really nice? I can easily feel you slipping in more and more ways into a withered land of the dark lord Nobody but you … and me We got it together babe You're my first, my last, my Witch King |

I wish we could just go phonetically, wight and white could just be wite… |

I wish we could just go phonetically, wight and white could just be wite… Or even wyte … |
jpattern2 | 16 Feb 2016 12:18 p.m. PST |
Don't need the silent E at the end, either: wyt. |
MajorB | 16 Feb 2016 12:22 p.m. PST |
Don't need the silent E at the end, either: wyt. You do really. Without the "e" at the end it could be pronounced as in "wit", |
jpattern2 | 16 Feb 2016 3:26 p.m. PST |
No, there aren't any silent letters in phonetics. Every letter or symbol is pronounced. To be phonetically pedantically accurate, it should be "wīt" in American English, with the long-I symbol, or "waIt" in British English, with lowercase a and an uppercase I (IIRC, it's been awhile). |

No, there aren't any silent letters in phonetics. Every letter or symbol is pronounced. I wasn't talking phonetics. I just said "wyt" can be pronounced "wit". |

We don't want no barrow wiggets round these parts. Here? |

Have centuries of decay left your wights looking dingy? Brighten them up with Clorot (TM) for that just buried look! |

Act now and we'll include a set of nine wraiths, free – plus shipping and handling. |

Actually, those are nice looking figures, and Adamc1776 did a good job of painting them. I've been looking for some undead for a barrow--I need to go check these out. Grelber |

Hey Adam, don't feel too bad,I'm still waiting for a major goof of mine to drop off the SF media board.Only half way there (sigh). A way to edit topic titles would be a good addition to 4.whatever. Nicely "horrible" figures,BTW. |
