Hallo

Going there March 21 till April 9
The" usual" (I guess?) motorized round circus allowing for Gib and some wargamer stuff such as Bailen, las Navas de Tolosa and hopefully a few castles.
Anything of interest that would escape the usual tourist info?
(Barossa battle did not seem worth the trouble).
Cordoba
Malaga
Nerja
Cadiz
Jerez
Granada

Also my sweet dame would want shopping in a kind of big discount outlet if there were any around (clothes/ fashion brands) like we had in France or Uk.
Mucho gracias
Jc

You could ask in this Spanish forum: laarmada.info/index.php

There's a nice Moorish castle a little further east of Nerja at Almunecar, another Renaissance castle at Calahorra, east of Granada near Guadix.
Many monuments etc are closed on Mondays.
Of course the Alhambra in Granada is impressive, but if you can spend time in the old quarter too, well worth it.
There is a gem in Almeria city, the Alcazaba, one of the best castles I've seen in Spain, off the regular circuit but worth a look, the Cathedral in the city is fortified too against pirate raids………
Can't advise on the fashioniista topic!

Almeria is out of the circuit unless we (I) feel like more driving at the end when we have a few days rest by the sea.

Monday closed, gracias Amigo, did not notice.

Might try moorish castle. Helps the mood when getting some reconquista minis painted later.

Will take some earth to base my Penninsula Sharp practice gangs.
Yes my Russian generals ( the newest) are on Borodino earth.
