I need some Norman backgardens and the like for a game I plan to run. Anyone got any suggestions for some stuff such as fences, sheds, lawns, vegetable patches and indeed anything else? Ideally to be purchased in the UK as I don't have much time. Ta.

Looks nice but it's 28mm so going to be implausibly large for my AB and Skytrex 20mm. Worth remembering for a future project though.

I would second looking at Noch. Their multi-scale boxwood hedges are perfect for putting round 1/72 /20mm gardens. I also have some HO scale cabbage plants which I believe are from Noch and they would fit the bill.

Thanks – will look into that. I may slip round to Ian Allen at Waterloo tomorrow lunchtime (i.e. London).

I am now wondering whether someone does pre-made gardens in resin or like those rubberised roads and rivers you can get.

I use Irregular Miniatures for cheap fencing in metal – several different styles. In general French rural gardens will be fenced (usually badly) and urban gardens will have walls.

Try Northumbrian Painting Services. They've just started a range of OO scale allotments, etc

Look under the railway tab at the top of the page

I got some mdf fences and odds and ends from these guys recently. Very fast service and good quality. They have sheds in the "scatter terrain" section link
