I just cannot seem to find what I want on the web, or in the Wargame Vault. Has anyone some recommandations and advice, and links, please ? Non-free is not an issue, since downloadable terrain is quite cheap .

Try Dapol Model Railway Company. Ex-Airfix, sturdy plastic, and relatively cheap buildings.

I use 25mm buildings with roofs you can take off and place models inside.
The extra space inside accommodates bases. On the outside they don't too outsized at all.

I bought the Battlelands Normandy 15mm buildings by Microtactix from Wargame Vault. You can increase the size of the buildings when printing.

I use HO scale buildings. You can find some good deals on ebay because the buildings may be damaged but for a wargame that's perfectly fine.

Try Raventhorpe sentry buildings in facebook. Excellent buildings , excellent painting service and superb customer service.

Jens Najewitz line – among the best – great variety and highly customisable at a reasonable price – some assembly required, but very easy.

I've just picked up one of these 15/20mm buildings to see how it 'fits' with my other 20mm stuff……..easy assembly and very good fit, great value for money -I'll be getting more!

Flea markets and yard sales are great places to pick up HO scale model railroad buildings for pennies on the dollar. Search on ebay for stuff like this which is perfect for WWII games link
