Thanks to the Imperial Skies Kickstarter, Brigade Models will be producing 4 new capital ships: The Gaulois-class for the French, the Vanguard-class for the British, the Kaiser-class for the Germans and the Lexington-class for the Americans. Of the four, which one are you most looking forwards to using/painting/owning? |

For myself I have two the Gaulois and the Lexington I've always been a fan of the French and their designs are pretty good. As for the Lexington which looks like a flying version of the Ironclad Virginia I like how the ships look like Civil War Ironclads. And since I have a very large collection of Aeronef ships already(1,000 plus)it'll be nice adding more to my collection. I'll be using all four in various games which I'm working on to run at local Game Convention. As for painting them I do like painting them. Michael |

I didn't join directly, but threw some money at a friend who did to purchase a new starter fleet, so I 'did my bit' to get those made. Won't be owning any immediately; looking forward to looking down barrels in horror, mind you. Doug |

Is it just me, or were the Russian starter and Gaulois-class missing from the Backerkit survey? |
Captain Gideon | 18 Feb 2016 8:39 a.m. PST |
No Sadowa1866 the Russians are missing and that's what I wanted to get to bolster my small Russian Fleet. I couldn't begin the survey because of no Russian Starter Fleet. Since I didn't go that far I didn't see the Gaulois-class so I can't speak to that. I emailed Robin asking where's the Russian's but have not yet heard from him. So until I hear from him I can't start the survey. Michael |

And it's spelled 'Gauloise.' You get two of the, and light up. Doug |

I signed on for a Japanese starter fleet and had a second starter fleet which was Russian. As noted above – the Russians weren't available for the first fleet, but when I went to select my second fleet it was. Odd… |

Canuckinator I wanted to have the Russians as my first starter Fleet but it wasn't there so upon some advice I picked the German but I told Robin in an email that I want the Russian's. From what I was told the Russian's were left out due to some mistake or something and they couldn't fix the problem but as long as they know what I want then that's good enough for me. And since the French Battleship wasn't there I had to pick 2 of the Lexington's but I said I do want the French Battleship. Michael |
