Shapeways offers a wonderful array of new models of modern Russian vehicles in 1/285 scale. Most are in FUD (frosted ultra-detail) material, which means they're relatively expensive and somewhat brittle. Detail is excellent. Vanguard Cybernetics offers the Armata tank, IFV, and SPG; the SA-21 Growler with tractor; the PMM ferry, and Pantsir. Masters of Military provides the 2S7 Pion SPG, a Bereg coastal defense gun battery, an SA-10 Grumble battery (including a reloading vehicle and a huge radar), an SSC-3 Styx battery, Smerch and Uragan launchers, and many more. Go the Shapeways website at link search on one of these vehicles, and visit the designer's shop.

In Soviet Shapeways, 6mm vehicles mould YOU!

I have perused this site several times, but I've had no luck finding the modern Soviet armor. The miniatures section has close to 500-pages, and I saw a cool looking T-Rex, planes and ships. :(

Ben: I suggest you follow the link to the Shapeways website, search on, say "PMM" or "Pion," and then visit the designer's store. You'll find lots of wonderful models, including many WWII German "never weres." Have fun!

Game Craft Miniatures has metal T-14 and T-15 about $2.25 USD each figure. More robust, durable, and lower cost. Easer to paint. Finally, less costly.

I've ordered an T-14 Armata and a T-15 IFV from javelin98's store front on Shapeways. I'll let folks know how they look next to my GHQ T-90s when I get them.
