Peter, Thanks for making me regret my decision. Seriously, I appreciate the clear delineation of costs. And Janice has always referred to you as the "Kind gentleman that made ordering so easy." And she dislikes ordering miniatures for me for lots of valid reasons. 14th Warrior, you are not helping my painting pile (mostly metal still.) Right now I have 30 dollars until Friday (college supplies for the daughter's art classes) and next payday is the Big Bill part of the cycle but I am likely to cave before too long. I have a smaller priority in the short term for mass armies in 15mm but a half back or two would really let make some "specialty" units for skirmish and elite units in mass battle. Great customer service response. Now, long term as I change from 25mm to 15mm… Facebook huh? Well, I am there already to track some gaming buddies so why not? |

majormike, did you figure it out. When you created your account it should have set you up in the system. If it worked i would have sent you a confirmation email letting you know your 10% off had been activated. |

Mutebyastander, My apologies, i did not mean to cause you angst with this miniature range. I hope the range and ultimately the game itself brings sufficient joy and happiness to compensate for the troubled thoughts i have subjected you too. |

I will be attending Cold Wars, so if you happen to be there I look forward to meeting you. I will have all the product currently available for sale, plus lots of unreleased miniatures to oogle over. I will also be running short demo games at the booth of the rules system. |

Good to hear, wasn't sure if that was you or not, as have a few Mike's I have been chatting too.I didn't want to assume. |

Might I politely ask what you used to make your pikes Ed? |
the14thwarrior | 28 Feb 2016 6:02 p.m. PST |
I used ready made pikes available from Northstar Military Figures. They have spears as well. |
| Canuckinator | 28 Feb 2016 6:54 p.m. PST |
Interesting. Being wire, is there any flex to them? I find pikes/spears always seem to bend/snap in transport if made from too rigid a substrate (plus there's that whole "pincushion" mishap waiting to happen issue…). |
the14thwarrior | 29 Feb 2016 10:42 a.m. PST |
No, these are stiff wire, actually quite pointy and dangerous. |

Hmm…may still have to consider those then. I think I'm leaning towards heavy nylon brush bristles at the moment. Nice catapult by the way! |

-- >No, these are stiff wire, actually quite pointy and dangerous. Ditto that – be warned. I've some on some Greek Hoplites – they look great but boy do they sting. And I'm unawares of corks made that small ;-) |

I will be attending Cold Wars, so if you make it there would love to see you at the booth. If you would like to place an order to pick up please email it to me at ed@battlevalorgames.com |

Yes they are Orcs, but in the game monsters can be used by different armies, so you can switch the crew out to be able to use the best in a different army. It is being released under the Orc range, so have an Orc crew. |

Great, the agency has added you to the Block list. And they monitor people who go out to Facebook who are not crowd sourcing billets. Understandable but means I will have to be home to check out all the pictures. LOL, no angst, just more wistful thinking out loud. Since I don't gamble (or play the lottery which is even worse odds) it has to be about miniatures. |

The agency? Do you mean THE agency? |
| majormike69 | 05 Mar 2016 12:21 a.m. PST |
Ed you should post some pics on lead adventurers. There is quite a interest in 15mm fantasy there. If you want send me the pics and I will post them for you. |

Is it a facebook group, or a forum, or something else. Do you have a link to it? Thanks |

Hard to believe those rangers are 15mm. Beautiful work! |
| Cullen | 09 Mar 2016 11:23 a.m. PST |
It is indeed beautiful work. 15mm? They would seem to be in the 15-actually-18mm vein. I'd like to see some size comparisons of the human minis with established fantasy (or historical) counterparts. So far I've only seen BVG orcs compared with other ranges and was surprised to see that they are even larger than a Copplestone Barbarian. The latter typically tower over traditional 15mm minis. Anyway, not intending to gripe, am very much impressed with the overall quality and the seemingly-unstoppable output. Cheers, RC. |
the14thwarrior | 10 Mar 2016 4:46 a.m. PST |
The range does lean towards the 18mm end. The Dwarians which are the smallest race so far are 12mm from the bottom of the shoe too the eye. The Orcians are the largest so far. The humans are scaled to be smaller than the Orcians in height and overall physique. |

Okay, these are awesome minis. I love the Dwarves and Orcs. When will the dwarf characters be available? Also, how can we get your rules if we don't Facebook? |
the14thwarrior | 10 Mar 2016 9:08 a.m. PST |
Dwarf Characters will be available the first week in April. The rules are still in early days. I am doing some edits this week, and will be posting a PDF of the "basic" game rules to the Battle Valor website over the weekend, that you will be able to download and tryout by Monday.Any and all feedback will be welcome. |

The Battle Valor range is very nice, I will be adding another Orc tribe to my hordes and may be tempted by some of the other races too! I just love 15mm fantasy! |
