I must admit it. When I heard Lady Gaga was to perform The National Anthem at the opening of Super Bowl L, I felt some trepidation, not knowing what to expect. But, she hit a "home run!" Nice job, Lady Gaga! YouTube link |

I felt, and feel the same. I missed it live, thanks for the link. |

Lady Gaga did something else a while ago and I heard it, asked my wife who it was and she said it was Lady Gaga. She can hit it. |

Echo the above, it was amazing. If you look close about halfway through you can see a tear down her right cheek. |

She did a great job. I always hate it when famous singers junk it up with a bunch of ad libbing. Lady Gaga was respectful to our national anthem. |

If you get past her bizarre videos and fashions, the girl can actually sing. |

Best national anthem rendition since Whitney Houston in 1991! People underestimate Lady Gaga's talent… |
Frederick the Grape | 07 Feb 2016 6:28 p.m. PST |
Gaga nailed it! She has one of the best contemporary voices. I normally don't like it when the anthem is styled, but she gave it dignity and style. Grape |

Ditto. Her performance at the Grammys honoring The Sound of Music was fantastic too. She has an amazing voice! |

It was good but I did not know that she was an American. |

The tempo was too slow. She did a nice job though. |

Nailed it. She's number 2 behind the Dixie Chicks. |

Gotta say, I was pleasantly surprise. She did well. |

Saw her in concert with Tony Bennett. Amazing voice. She sang "La Vie en Rose" in both French and English and totally nailed it! |

She can sing very well. I thought she did a great job with the anthem. |

AND she has LEGS…as testified by the Tony Bennett Xmass commercial…8.9's at the very least. BTW, she was lip-syncing, but that was still her voice. Only part of the SB I witnessed. Nice job. |

Her duets with Tony Bennett are dynamite. |

Based on her first two albums she considers auto-tune just another tool, while some other "acts" wouldn't exist without it. There is a lot of justified disdain for auto-tune out there, and some extend that to all of its users, deserving or not. |

I thought she did a great job. I am not a Lady Gaga follower and I do not know any of her songs, but she impressed me. She also did not hold those long annoying notes that make you cringe. Some singers feel a need to make the US anthem go on and on and on. Finish the line already! There was just a touch of it at the end, but that was okay. |

She held some words a bit long, but I was pleasantly surprised. |
Tom Bryant | 08 Feb 2016 6:09 p.m. PST |
I was impressed when I heard her with Tony Bennett on Duets. This just goes to show that she is the "Real Deal". Well done Ma'am or as they Navy says BRAVO ZULU! |
Winston Smith | 08 Feb 2016 8:10 p.m. PST |
Her smile said "I got this." And she did. |
WarWizard | 09 Feb 2016 9:31 p.m. PST |
I thought it was outstanding also. Might have been the highlight of the whole show. |
