Iīve painted the first knight of my Chevaliers d'Honneur unit: link Itīs a Mirliton figure, with some conversion on the helmet (antlers). Hope you like it! |

I have tried and tried to do checked designs on my knights and eventually gave up because I just couldn't get it right. Yours looks great. Now another fifty or sixty of those? |

I have always disliked the GW/Citadel Bretonnian figures. Something about them is cheesy, and the newer plastic ones especially. It could be one of the reasons Bretonnia never really took off in Warhammer. This stuff you've done with Mirliton, though, wow! It is spot on. |

Thanks for your comments! @Wealdmaster: I do like the new (well, the last) GW bretonnian knights. I think the key is a good balance between Fantasy and Historical. For example, I donīt like the questing or grail knights because the Fantasy component is too exaggerated (as in the last gw figures). But the plastic knights have some interesting combinations… specially mixing them with some men at arms bits.
