"The Air Force jets will be protecting the game and enforcing an FAA established temporary flight restriction zone.

Armed Air Force fighter jets will be protecting Sunday's Super Bowl game from the skies above, working to ensure an FAA-established Temporary Flight Restriction for the area is upheld, service officials told Scout Warrior.

According to this, it costs $41,921 USD per hour to operate an F-15 in the air.
