Looking to do a bit of ww2 history with the kid. Any consensus on the best "ww2 day by day" book, preferably with really good, easy to read maps? It can be a bit pop history, since I can fill in the blanks. could have sworn I had asked this before but the search isn't helping me.

World War II Almanac 1931-1945: A Political and Military Record by Robert Goralski would seem to fit the bill. I understand, however, there has been some criticism based on some factual errors in the book. But worth a look see and available on Amazon. |

Mostly, it just needs to have dates for major and moderate events, I can fill in details myself :) I'll take a look for that one. |

If you do try it out let me know how it goes. Mine has seen its fair share of consultation :) |
