Has anyone heard anything from C-in-C lately? I placed an order with them three weeks ago and have not heard a word and have not received responses to emails.
As it's coming up on a month since I placed my order, I just want to know if I should be disputing the charge with PayPal and my cc--I'm not trying to start any difficulties for anyone.

A friend sent out an e-mail yesterday. He placed his order just over 4 weeks ago, no real response, but the package arrived yesterday with everything in it.

The comment is that they are a bit slow but did deliver, and that seems to be how they function.

Same here; placed an order and it arrived right around 4 weeks later.

I had an order recently and it was a little slow in coming. Try using RandyPFC at gmail dot com. I always get a quick reply. They are probably seeing an increase in sales due to Team Yankee.

Yep, that has been my experience in the past. Nice product, zero communication. Took about a month to receive my order, even though they are only a two hour drive from the homestead. I'll order from them again, but not sure why they don't communicate a little better.

mwindsorfw04 Feb 2016 9:08 a.m. PST

My order on January 25th arrived yesterday, so less than two weeks.

After the PayPal payment goes in, I wish they would send a confirmation. You sort of sit in limbo not knowing if a person actually saw it or if you need to inquire.

Thanks, everyone. That's reassuring. I'll keep an eye on my mailbox this next week!

Well, i'm happy with CinC, but pissed at GHQ.
Got a bunch of GHQ at fall in, and i was missing 1 hull and 2 turrets.
EMAILED SEVERAL TIMES. NO RESPONCE.

Call them. I had a similar problem, sent multiple emails. They never responded. The GHQ forum suggested calling. It worked.

This is a timely thread for me as I've been having the same experience. (3+ weeks waiting for an order, no confirmation sent, no replies to emails) Guess I'll just wait it out and finish painting what's on hand.

Bellbottom05 Feb 2016 5:08 a.m. PST

Yes, I had problems with a couple of GHQ miscasts and got no reply to email. Several calls later I made contact and managed to voice my concerns, receiving replacements quite quickly. Service was fine, but they did say they were having problems with their onsite contact messaging service. I would definitely phone.
CinC appears to be quite slow to the UK, when I contacted I got a bit of a grumble about not keeping much stock, and not casting until funds from purchasers were paid. Product is still excellent, if slow.

Gulik2305 Feb 2016 8:49 a.m. PST

My CinC package was waiting in my mailbox when I got home yesterday. Wonderful minis as always. Really fine detail on 6mm infantry! Casts are much nicer than what I've been seeing from GHQ lately….

Has anyone paid for their order with a credit card at C-in-C? I put in an order about 3 weeks ago and my credit card has yet to be charged.

paulgenna05 Feb 2016 6:03 p.m. PST

Chris,

Did you get a charge for Davenport Racing by chance? If so, that is the card service they are using. Randy usually does not charge until he is close to shipping since you get a discount with your purchase.

ChrisB05 Feb 2016 11:24 p.m. PST

Thanks for the reply!
No, no charge at all – I emailed him a couple weeks ago and he also mentioned that is likely the account it would go through. He also said it would likely be charged the next day bit so far nothing. I'm a little concerned but by the sounds of this thread he just has a lot of orders on his hands!

chrisswim06 Feb 2016 7:29 p.m. PST

CinC has always treated me well with great service as a customer and with my store. He has nice product and service for us.
I also offer GHQ. Have some terrain, trees currently.
Let me know if I may help with your next order.
