These are great looking figs, but almost all are geared towards dungeon crawls because they are almost all carrying torches or lanterns.

Torches are used for more than dungeons. Anytime your characters are in the dark (night time for example.)

If the figure doesn't have a torch or lantern does that mean the DM/GM is going to say, "You can't light a torch because the figure doesn't have one," during a game? You pretend the figure has a torch/lantern This is just a flip side to that scenario. Or how about, "You cannot drop your shield and use the Two-handed sword because the figure has a cast-on shield!"

Seems a bit… nit-picky… (yeah that's a nicer word) at best.

I like the figures and against my budget and intention supported this KS.

Perfect figures? Probably not, but I think they are excellent figures.

Thanks guys! I know lanterns and torches aren't ideal for every situation, but we needed some for our current D&D campaign…

As we expand the range, there won't be the same emphasis on light sources. Although I may sneak the odd one or two in there… ;)

Sadly I did not have the cash to support this wheile it was running. Surely these figures will be available for purchase by the general public eventually?

I went for all the figures. The torches can always be considered a weapon (toss the oil, toss the torch)…or used for intimidating prisoners.

I'm not saying that they aren't great figures. I'm happy to see some women figs that aren't wearing the infamous chain mail bikini.

Just from a visual point of view I don't mind a couple with torches or lanterns, but I would like to see more that aren't geared for dark fighting.

Oh, but you'll thank your lucky stars when that torch is applied to a troll to keep it from regenerating!

Thanks everyone! IronMike, yep, they'll find their way into our webstore once we've delivered the KS…
