Hi Folks Realised I had not posted my blopost on the Shed Wars ECW project on TMP. The plan is to paint up hundreds of the 28mm figures by June of this year. I am focussing on the Parliamentarian side and my mate is working on the Royalists. The start of this project can be found here… link I have primed and based the majority of the army
and most recently painted up the Artillery
thanks for looking EtS |

That's a fair bit of cavalry to paint. I got ECW enthusiasm overload painting just 64 cavalry in 10mm, so best wishes for those 28mm; if they come out as nicely as the guns they will make a splendid sight. I turned to my 6mm AWI project for some relief but have returned to ECW to add some artillery to make an army for the Pendraken painting competition; your guns will give me inspiration. |

One of the "painting tricks" that I have found over the years is to paint the flesh base-coat once the figures are primed. For some reason this seems to begin to bring the figures to life (at least for me). If this works for you, great; if not, well at least you will now have paint on the figures. Good luck, sir. It is looking great so far. What rules are you planning on using? -- Jeff
