Hi all,
At the start of December a couple of the local lads decided they wanted to get into Black Powder. I suggest starting with Napoleonics as like all of us I knew I had figures to spare hidden away.
So commencing on 27 December and planning to finish today, the last day of January I would have my Peninsular British ready to go. Well I did get all the painting done, the basing but failed to finish the flock, flowers, bushes etc on the bases.
Here is a pic of all the work done less grass on 80% of the bases. I will do that over the next night or so.

Here is a link to the album which shows a few more shots.

Once the flocking, basing is done I will add pictures of each of the individual units.
However here is a quick summary. (All infantry are 24 figs, skirmishers, cavalry are 12 figures per unit)
3 British Infantry Units. (Coldstream, Buffs and Kings own)
1 Highland Unit (Gordon's)
3 Portuguese Units (21st, 23rd and the loyal Lusitanian legion in green)
2 Rifles ( 95th and 60th)
2 Cacadores (5th and 7th I think)
1 Hvy Dragoon unit (1st or 2nd sorry late can't remember)
1 Light Dragoon unit (10th)
1 Hussar unit(15th)
1 Royal Horse gun
1 Royal artillery gun
1 Royal Horse Limber
6 Commander Figures
6 Casualty figures.
So I came up short on want I wanted to so. Still have a couple of guns of each type, another limber, 2 Light Infantry units and the 42nd Highland. But these will now be done as time goes by. All in all I am happy with the outcome and was a lot of fun finally finishing a project.
I apologize early for those die hard historians amongst you that may be picky on some of the colours, but take a breath please. I painted them to enjoy the game, not put in a museum.
Anyway that said, I hope you enjoy and as always comments welcome.
Better pics in a day or so.
Cheers😆
