I've done some searches and don't find many recent threads discussing the best 25/28mm AWI buildings. Any suggestions? The Perry range is calling for some skirmish gaming…

Check Grand Manner resin buildings.

Probably the most realistic models there are.

If it's skirmish gaming you're looking at, then <<waaslandwarrior>> has it pretty much spot on – those Grand Manner buildings are designed to be used for just that. The footprints of the models are very large – almost exact for 28mm figures. The only problem is that they are also quite expensive, as they were all limited edition. If you want something cheaper, try Hovels – their ACW range, as well as the AWI range, as the buildings are sufficiently similar to be useable.

I have Grand Manner for Skirmish gaming and they are perfect and look great. On the cheaper side the 4Ground buildings are pretty good too and there is some Dutch gentleman who has come out with a phenominal 18th century laser cut farm that does not even look like a kit afterward.

Those are nice looking buildings, Redcoat 55, thank you for the link. I did not know about these buildings before.

You are very welcome. I just found out about them myself. I have not seen them in person, but will probably buy a set and can follow up afterward.

4 Ground and Sarissa are both worth looking at.

Why not go with the Perry buildingds built for the period. There are three of them, easy to put together and paint and affordable.

Anyone have a link or email address to Pat's Laser Cuttings. I cannot use his blog to contact him.
