I seem to remember a post from last year or the year before discussing the upcoming release of a game set in Colonial Africa that seemed to be semi-roleplaying. Figures were 28mm and represented individuals. The photos were of a safari or exploring expedition. There was a nice picture of the front of the rulebook. My memory is that the rules were still being tested but would be released shortly afterward. I also had the the impression they were being put out by a French gaming group. Does this ring any bells?

For our annual Christmas game our group played a miniatures version of Source of the Nile.

It was the first time we played and according to the players it was very well received. I think there was only one rule we had to fix.
