I have been working on 6mm German and American forces for the past week or so. There was a lull with all the snow and the shoveling etc. I started on the Germans just today. I've already finished the tanks. Camouflage and all. I even spent some time retouching the camo pattern because they didn't seem quite right. I have also started in on the German infantry. I finished 3 8cm mortars and crews and 2 panzerschreck teams. Total time painting was probably less than 3 hours. That includes flocking the tank bases as well as painting up 3 M3 Stuarts.

6mm is kinda cool that way! Should work great on my 2X2 board.

It is amazing how quickly you can get through 6mm when you get into the groove. I find that post-1600 stuff especially lends itself to speed, particularly when there are no cross-belts or hat lace to do.

It often takes me longer to base them than to paint them.

it is easier to field an army in 6mm. any other scale you can do only part of the battles.
