The one roll showing if you hit, damage or stress done is nice. As is weapons having different dice when used as AT, AP, or AA. Hoping this one makes it as the rules feel open, but not fiddly when playing. No I Go destroy half your army then it is Your Go. If you have not grab the preview rules and see how they work. The heart will be the software to build up any mini you want to have in your force. Even has hinted at being able to make segments of a Bolo or Ogre like massive tank. Too many great minis at good prices to be locked in to a few folks world, for me. The fun of bringing a battle from a book to life on the table is what keeps me in the hobby. |

Quite a few updates since this post appeared (thanks for posting!)… One major one is you will have options for the boxed game's content. Check out Update 11 and see how we're doing this…. basically, we're going to present you with Option A and Option B for both factions… if you want, you can go UN A / OPFOR A (as originally presented) or any combination of options… UN A / UN B… etc… as a Battlegroup Commander supporter, you'll get all that and the tiles and the rest of the game including rules for $120 USD early / $125 USD regular. Savings off retail for the minis overall is roughly 30%. Check out Update 11 for more detail. While there, scroll to the other updates we've posted as well-- some cover the story, others provide demos of the game, others provide feedback from players, etc. Thanks!
